For about 2 years now, Dr. Murphy has been a member of the online dental group genR8Tnext. This organization is a brain trust of many of the leading dentists in the world, and is at the forefront of new dental procedures and techniques. Twice a year they meet to discuss the future of dentistry and learn from one another. This year in Tucson Arizona, Dr. Murphy put together a 15 piece rock band to play at the GenR8TNext conference. The band plays a high energy combination of Funk, Disco, 80’s rock and originals, all to raise money for a children’s dental center in California.



The band has garnered quite a bit of interest in the non-dental media and has been featured or has pending articles in Blender Magazine, The Ottawa Citizen, People Magazine, several dental trade journals, and many others. The genR8Ters will soon be releasing a DVD of the Tucson show, including some hilarious interviews with the very colorful band members. Her are some photos of the genR8Ters in action!
